Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About General Civil Litigation
Q: My case is small. Can I represent myself?
A: You can always represent yourself. In my years of practice, however, I have concluded that in small claims actions, it is the person with the proper physical evidence (paperwork) or witnesses that wins, not the one who is right. To avoid such a problem, you may meet with me beforehand just on an hourly basis, and during litigation just to help you be properly prepared for your trial. You may then still represent yourself.
